Beit Al Quran is a cultural museum and educational institution in Manama, Bahrain. It houses one of the world’s most remarkable collections of Quranic manuscripts and Islamic artifacts in the world. It was established in 1990 by Dr. Abdul Latif Jassim Kanoo. This museum is constructed to promote and showcase the Islamic heritage. Over 10,000 rare Quranic manuscripts are displayed in this museum. It is open for educational purposes also, for those who are interested in Islamic history, management provides resources and teaching classes. Includes a library, an auditorium and classrooms for lectures. And a key attraction of this museum is its architecture theme. It was constructed featuring slender minarets , a domed roof and walls imprinted with artistic Kufic script. Events like lectures, seminars, Islamic art exhibitions and the International event ‘Qatar International Quran conference’ is hosted here to bring scholars and history enthusiasts to explore Quranic studies and Islamic culture.
