Wat Pho

You can even buy a few coins from outside the temple to put them in the bowls.

The Grand Palace

The Grand Palace is located near Wat Pho. The palace is no more a residential place for the royal family. However, it is still used for official state functions. Though the entry inside the palace is barred, but walking around outside the palace complex and open temples is equally thrilling. The intricate architecture of the palace is worth marvelling at.

The National Museum of Thailand

The National Museum of Thailand is a must visit place if you want to completely immerse yourself in the culture of this beautiful country. It also includes a massive collection of musical instruments, recorded music, ornate royal funeral chariots, and impressive wooden carvings.

The Jim Thompson House

The Jim Thompson House was built by H.W. Thompson, an American entrepreneur who was the founder of Jim Thompson Thai Silk Company. He lived in Thailand for 25 years until his mysterious disappearance in 1967.

The house in constructed in traditional Thai style. It comprises of a complex of six houses; all of them built in traditional style. It is beautifully decorated with teak wood and has a garden which complements its beauty.
