While the tower above the main temple, also known as the Jagadananda Vimanam, reflects Oriya architecture, the Rajagopuram depicts the South Indian architectural style. The construction of this temple required the hard labor and devotion of artisans and sculptors for almost ten years.

An 11-foot (3.4-meter)-tall (granite) statue of Lord Venkateswara at the temple has a lotus flower fashioned into an umbrella on top.
